To buy or not to buy? ( Part II )

So ya'll I am in another situation. A friend is letting go of his bike ( 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 600 , 13k miles ) for $3500. Needs new left fairing and front rotors? He is also giving me a brand new KBC helmet, an Icon Helmet, and a leather Jacket. Is it that bad buying a new fairing and rotors? Should I buy fix up? Thanks. He doesn't have the title in had until he pays off and Suzuki will hand it to him which will go to me .

I've read part 1.
Not a bad price for 04 600. Do you trust him to hand you the title? I have known some friends whose friend ripped them off.
