Regardless of what others have said about them, they've done everything I've wanted them to do. I was warned that it takes them a little longer than other tires to heat up. I don't stunt or do burnouts, and it sticks to the road like glue in the rain.

I plan on replacing it with another one.

Its just called a Maxxis. Discount motorcycle Tire in pasadena carries the 180mm for 150. 160 will get you the 190mm.

yeah I've been running BT014R's and getting <2k out of them. Got a free dunlop qualifier that I'm running on the rear now and its lasting a bit longer.
6k is pretty darn good. even so you must be pretty easy on it.

If by being pretty easy you mean not doing rolling burnouts and wheelies, then yeah - I guess I am. I commute mostly, but I ride the heck out of it.
