Ticket help!

This is some BS. I was on my way up to work to pick up some stuff. was travelin 45 north and exited allen parkway to the left. went around that sharp turn and if you know this area you know this is were i think 4 lanes of traffic meet up, all going different speeds. i work off taft street so i got over in the left lane making sure my speed was good bc i know the cops like to sit there and get people. so 2 cars were in front, they stopped both of them and then saw me, told them to go and pulled me over. asked for my license and insurance. while i was getting it out the other cop comes running over yelling,"does he have a M..does he??" i was like wtf man calm down i got one then he walked off. cop never told me why i got pulled over or anything. i know my tags are out so i thought thats why. i get to work and i see 50 in a 40 i was like wtf?? i know i have to get the tags taken care of just been busy/lazy!

so what do you guys recommend me doing i need it off my record...trail by jury, or what?

any help would be great!
oh yea...cant do defensive driving..i have a out of state license.

I just got out of a ticket, the cop didnt show up, hmm dont' know why LOL. Well anyways the current ticket I got was from DPS, but they would give there own momma a ticket. So it has been 13 months so far, set for trial and wont probably go till next year some time. It was for 92 in a 50.

I use Pre paid legal. $25 a month and they handle all traffic violations. You just fax the lawyer a copy of the ticket and they handle the rest. You dont even have to show up in court. They have worked me out of three tickets in the past 2 years. Would have cost me at least $450 had I just paid them but I don't have any points and my insurance stays low. Plus they handle other legal matters for me too.

Goto Court... the cop won't be there and ask for a trial by Judge.

Visit 2: When the Prosecutor calls you up and asks if you wish to continue with your case, if the cop is there you say to him you need a continuance. He might ask you why... but you are NOT OBLIGATED to tell him why at that time. If he asks again, you just say that you will request it from the Judge yourself.

HPD uses a set computer entry form for all their court information. He will tell you to go sit down and call the next victim.

By this time, he has entered into his computer all those who wish to reset and those which did nt show or will not be contesting his case. Therefore he will release all of the cops so they can go back to work. Half your job is done...

Usually after all the computer entry work is done, and all the info is loaded he will leave the room to prepare for the next court session which they run staggered at Lubbock.

The Judge, not knowing anything will see just a blank explanation for a reset. The cop has been released, the Prosecutor is gone and he will dismiss your ticket!!

If the Prosecutor stays... You MIGHT have to explain a reset but its been my experience twice the cop is gone and the dismissal is given. If you have to explain, just tell the judge you are requesting a reset because your witness was deployed and cannot appear at that time. You have NO idea when he/she will return and you know that any inability to share all the truth about your case will cause you great financial harm should you receive a fine and higher insurance rates.

It will then get dismissed.

Best of luck!
sounds good man..will you pm your number..would like to talk to you about this a lil more!
