Hello from Spring Branch

Just want to stop by and say hello. Another national forum I'm pretty active on is down, so I did decided to search a little, and found this site. I was glad to find a local forum!

My name's Rob, and I've been riding for over 25 years, from MX to Street since I was 13. I'm over the hill at 40, so I hope I'm not too old for you guys (seems like a young crowd here). Originally from New Jersey (you got it, Joizee), and lived in Houston since '89.

I currently ride a Honda 919 Hornet, since I still want a bike that's sport oriented, but comfortable on my back. The 919 fits the bill perfect, with plenty of grunt, and perfect ergos. I'll probably keep this one as my perfect all-arounder. I plan to pick up a K1200R by the end of this year.

Here's a couple of pics of the Hornet:

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

Geez! I was gone maybe 1/2 an hour searching this forum (that "Bootay" thread kinda sidetracked me :icon_bigg ), and already so many welcomes!

Thanks for the welcome and the comps on my bike. As far as that dog goes, when I order her to "Lick 'em", she will definitely go lick you.

The Meet n Greet sounds great. Unfortunately, I'm recently divorced, so Thursday evenings are my visitation days with my 2-yr old daughter, and that's precious time for me. BTW, divorce laws suck for the father here in Texas.

Thanks man. Yeah, for the most part, I think you're right. This divorce made my ex-wife $110K richer, and made me that much poorer :BangHead:
