Texas A&M jumps to No. 6; UH drops to No. 13 in latest AP poll

The Associated Press football poll was released Monday.

Texas A&M knocked off Tennessee 45-38 in double OT Saturday. The Aggies jumped up to No. 6, the spot previously occupied by the University of Houston.

U of H lost to Navy 46-40. The Cougars dropped to No. 13.

Baylor checks in at No. 11.

The Coogs host Tulsa on Oct. 15. The Aggies have a bye this week before visiting No. 1 Alabama on Oct. 22.

Below are the Top 25 teams in The Associated Press college football poll -- with first-place votes in parentheses, records through Oct. 10, total points based on 25 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 25th-place vote, and previous ranking.
