Daily Craig: What a weekend

I spent the weekend in my old home town and in airports in Illinois, Texas, and Georgia. I figured I WOULD ENJOY the slaughter of NAVY to start my Saturday down time. However, Navy DID their best and after all they do have DESTROYERS.

Tom Herman is now out of the running to be the new head coach of NAVY. I ALSO learned shortly after that game my College team got clubbed again AND MY HIGH SCHOOL hasn't won a game all season.

So, it would make sense to cheer on the TEXANS. I PICKED THEM TO LOSE and they finally rescued my choices by doing just that. I avoided the "Brock ain't the TD DOC" on TV because I was in the air for the first half. Arriving in Atlanta with my Texans cap on my gourd I looked at A MONITOR and saw the Vikings up 24-3. A little kid looked at me, looked a my cap, and smiled. He was lucky his mom was with him.

By the time I LANDED at Bill Hobby's airport it was over. BILL O'Brien had another "blame it on me" presser and I was happy to have missed that. To make the day complete for many TEXANS FANS the COWPOKES were roughing up the Bengals. Sometimes it is dangerous to leave town. GO CUBS.
