I loved my 2005. I wouldn't have gotten rid of it except that I came across a great deal on an F150. I fell in love with the space and capabilities of it, but I'd rather drive the smaller Taco as a daily driver. The new Taco's are even nicer, but I wish they would upgrade the engine. I'd like to have the TRD Pro option.

Dude you don't get much off MSRP for these. They sell too fast. Sticker was 37.5. I got it for 35 but only because it is a 2016 and I ignored them for 4 days after the test drive. They have 1 more blue 2016 4X4 at Fred Haas Toyota Country on 249.

I probably would not have done it except I sold my Mustang and Triumph Tiger all within the last week and it allowed me to put a really good amount of money down.

That's quite a bit of cabbage for a compact truck! My cheap would have to find one with around 75-85k miles on it. To many of my kids are driving to be buying new.

You're gonna love that truck! When I bought mine, I was able to get a pretty good discount bc the sales guy up. Ended up paying 31.5 OTD instead of the 34k sticker. Traded it in with 38k miles a year later for 28k. These things hold their value. I've been eyeing a new one like yours..

Sounds like the same thing I went through with my Jeep Wrangler. They're so proud of them man. I had a salesman straight up tell me if I didnt like the price to walk because there would be someone right behind me that wants it. Needless to say I didn't buy mine from that place. After a year of looking at many dealerships I found out that original salesman wasn't lying. I ended up getting about 3500.00 off because my buddy works at Machaik.

They dont budge on the price because you can't find one less than $10k off MSRP without 100K miles.

Hail is right, it is hard to get anything off MSRP on these things. He got a smoking deal on a vehicle many people are happy just to get $500 off MSRP.

Yeah very true. At least the resale value makes the MSRP worth it in the long run.

There was no greater pleasure in car sales than telling a customer to shove his negotiations up his wife's .

When I bought mine sticker was 40k ish I got it down to 37k because it was the last 2012 on the lot. No regrets!!!!!!!!! I'm still valued in the high 20s to low 30s with 69000 miles on the clock

I consider the Tacoma to be more "mid-sized" than compact. The Nissan definitely feels compact. That Avalanche AWD is about the same price. That one is so new that I bet they are not offering any incentives at all.

So we can swap vehicles next Sister's/Arkansas ride!

I was really hoping you would of pulled the trigger on the Honda. Real owner reviews are much more accurate than what you read on the shiny paper and interwebs.
