When I took a trip to D.C. all of the cop cars had an extra little light on the ends of the light bars that were lit up at night.
Not flashing, just a solid light yellow light on one end, and a small blue light on the other side.

So if you wanted or needed a cop, you could see one coming down the street.

And if you don't, you can duck!

2. In his eyes, the idea of the police being seen would deter crime. Especially when it came to traffic patrol. Laws aren't written so you can sneakily hunt down speeders but rather to punish those who disregard the conditions. To him, traffic control was more effective to be seen, thus slowing down everyone rather than trying to hide and then pounce on one.
Clearly he was focused on the good reason traffic enforcement is needed.

Seems more and more the focus is on revenue generation, ie the 20 something team of HPD going around writing tickets for blocking a sidewalk in your own driveway.

One of the many reasons I moved out of CoH...

I'm totally confused.........
So tell me again how this helps Brad and Angelina????? It seems to have done nothing to help Kim Kardashian, but I don't know if Ford is using this vehicle in Paris.

We gotta get back on track with this thread or my whole day is going to be a gsxr day.

The wheels always give the police package vehicles away. If they put even the low level alloy wheels, these things are basically invisible. Looks just like a soccer mom grocery getter!

Sheriff duputy in riverside would drive down highway 19 (70 mph) speed limit at 40. All day he would cruise back and forth. If you passed him and stayed legal or a little above he didnt care, the catch was it dropped to 55 mph down the road and there would always be another bear down there waiting for the call.

I was routinely passed by leo going north on the hardy on the versys early AM with I was consulting for Repsol.

Versys has a sweet spot at 92-94 mph, and that's what I was usually doing.

A pair of cruisers, a moto cop here and there. Guys must have been doing 120.
