Sneaky Ford Police Vehicles

http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/...kier/91454966/

Being a hooligan just got harder!

"Undercover police vehicles are about to get even stealthier, USA Today reports .

Ford, which recently added red- and blue-emergency lights to the front visors of its unmarked police cars, announced Monday that it is introducing emergency lights built into the spoiler.

The company said its intent was to prevent light bars from impeding officer's visibility, while taking speeding motorists by surprise. "The system could give a Ford another edge in the race for dominance in sales to police departments," the newspaper said."

As long as I was not riding dirty I wouldn't pull over. I would find the closest police station or call 911 and wait for a marked vehicle.

Have a friend who is with HPD and he dispises the unmarked cars. Told me that when he was on patrol that he did everything he could to roll in the baby blue, marked up cars. His reasoning was two fold:
1. He WANTS to be seen. Too many drunks on the road late at night.
2. In his eyes, the idea of the police being seen would deter crime. Especially when it came to traffic patrol. Laws aren't written so you can sneakily hunt down speeders but rather to punish those who disregard the conditions. To him, traffic control was more effective to be seen, thus slowing down everyone rather than trying to hide and then pounce on one.

Yes, my thoughts. This is just a tool for revenue generation IMO.

Let's say somebody flys by an unmarked cop car doing 80. From a dead stop how fast would that cop have to go to catch up to the car that was speeding. Let's solve speeding by speeding to catch speeders... Totally backwards if you ask me. I agree with the marked cars. When I use to test drive dps vehicles on the highway I felt like I was a pace car driver on a nascar track. No matter how slow I went nobody would pass me.

I wonder if I'm on full ignore with the "others"

Would be strange if he had me on ignore, yet keeps entering my threads and liking posts. Not saying I haven't seen stranger behavior, but...

Come on now buck! Don't be like that, I'm trying to forgive and forget here. I'm lobbying to get your old name back brah. Water under the bridge, buried hatchet... I don't think it's right the way they did you and don't agree with it...I was truely wondering if you had me on ignore, because if not I'm not exactly sure who other(s), plural would be.

I mean we all know toe is an but who else if you did not already have me and green on it?
