Need second opinion

08 hayabusa is not cranking up like it should.

Insert key, turn bike on, bike responds with all the lights.

Press 'give the glory' button.

Bike goes dark. There is noise like it is about to start. However My life does not crank up. I release the 'great giver of joy and happiness' button. Lights come back like all is well with the world.

This is a new battery. Two weeks old.

I hooked up my booster to my battery and get same response to my prayers. I used a charger on the battery too.

I suspect I know the reason for the recall.

So can someone confirm this is a need for the recall work or just a half assed f' upd battery?

Put a volt meter on the battery. Check it's voltage at rest and under load. Stop guessing.

This thread is worthless without battery voltage and a cold cranking amp measurement
