Okay being serious here how do you guys know this was road rage? Could have went down like this:
She didn't see him and started to get over, instead of moving out of the way he opted to flip her mirror to get her attention(not very smart but maybe a split second decision)
She continues to get over, still not noticing him and he finally decides to grab the brakes...but he doesn't make it in time. He get's clipped by the back of her car and she then runs his bike over, causing the flat tire

I think she cut him on purpose. I commute every day 90 miles round trip on the BW-8 and 45 North and cagers do it all the time. I am so used to them invading my lane that I do not even get upset anymore. I just try to stay very alert and predict what they are going to do. Women texting/talking on their phones are the worst!

Because 3 drivers stopped to give their version of events and the police say that led them to the conclusion of road rage

Maybe she did. It wouldn't surprise me. I know we'be all seen our fair share of that

I missed the part where they concluded road rage? Was it in the video?

RIP to the rider and Godspeed.

I have been cutoff and done similar as this guy is alledge to have done. I cant pass judgemnt on either because i dont know the whole story but it is a up one nonetheless. I quickly stopped engaging cars when i had a dodge diesel truck try to run me down. Car vs bike: the car will always win. I will be back on a bike within the next year or two and people are just stupid out there spending more time looking at the phones than looking ahead. These threads are aweful and need to quite being derailed with foolishness. The video was distasteful but let it go and honor another rider.

Or he could have startled her when he flipped the mirror causing her to swerve and clip him. I know I would have reacted if something hit my mirror out of nowhere. Not to hit anyone but to avoid more damage in the event I didn't see something. The road rage they are talking about could have been one sided too where only the rider took part. We don't know any it doesn't matter to this guy any more. Next time this happens, just twist it and move on.

Because witnesses stated that both were making aggressive moves. He took his hand off the throttle to smack the driver's side mirror.

If you notice in the video, It's the drivers mirror folded in. Meaning she was moving left into his lane when he folded it. Now, they were on the access road, so one would assume she was moving left so she could enter the freeway. If it were purely an accident, why is the damage to her vehicle on the right side fender? That would indicate that she moved right, blocking his path and ultimately hitting him.

Looks like the bike had spoke wheels. Maybe twisting it and getting out of the way wasn't an option. LOL

I wish y'all would at least look at the video before going all Sherlock Holmes.

The video shows the driver's side mirror flipped. The video shows damage to the right rear of the vehicle along with a right rear flat tire.
