getting boots resoled? & brand/size comparison ?

I just bought a new pair of soles for my SIDI boots and I was wondering if anyone has had it done. And do I need to take them anywhere other than my local boot/shoe repair shop.

I have other boots resoled at my local shoe repair, but they are usually stitched on and these are glued.

Also I'm looking into a pair off A*s Supertech R's. My SIDI Vert. boots are a size 42 how does that compare with the sizing of A*s?

Shoe/boot repairs (cobbler's) are a dying breed. You should defiantly support your local guy. The only thing I can think of, would be the integrity of the plastic/rubber armor on you boots. Are they still pliable and strong, or are they weathered and brittle?

Here you go dude. I have used them 4 times(not only from track use but from sketching on my goldwing). They do super work and very fast turnaround.

No, there's more of them coming across the border every day, but yea I'm much rather inclined to support a local business, than an internet business.

And yea they are all good. The only reason the soles are wore out is because I was wearing them at work (when i ride in) and the concrete outside of our office is rough.

They are very comfy and cool.

I usually don't have to interact with to many people and if I do they come to my office. Occasionally when I go out in the field I have to put on the steel toes (not as comfy or cool).

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

My Astars and my Sidis are the same size... if anything, the Sidis are possibly maybe ever so slightly larger, maybe.

I figured the size would be a bit smaller. Just like my A* gloves they run a size smaller than other brands I've wore.
