A Few

I'm not watching no stinking video, but I'll drink plenty of Keith's coffee before a ride. Just plan for a few pee stops.

Keith is all good. I rode with him couple times before I had to go away for a month or so. I am not big on group rides especially with more than 5 people but his ride was very controlled and he was clear on expectations. I guess few bad apples spoiled the fun for all.... good luck to you all with rides. I can only ride Fridays now because my kids are back from Brazil and weekends are full. I'll keep riding on West side with my wife on our "day off".

I've been on the first few rides Keith planned out on here, those were fun indeed and well organized but after only reading the first page of this thread ill have to agree with the others on calling out the unsafe riders

99.9% of the riders that have ridden with us have behaved very well...no stunting...no wheelie riding or other hooliganism...i dont think the word unsafe really applys as much as not being in the proper spot in line...it appears unsafe if a faster rider follows a slower rider...if everyone finds there proper spot in line then these problems are resolved...i know i harp on this but i really feel if everyone finds there "Spot" in line it will eliminate any potential problems...

This kind of stuff really shouldn't be an issue. I say "shouldn't". But it always happens. The number of riders, groups, speed differentials, road types/conditions, etc. should not cause people to ride dangerously and in fact...these things never do. People are the problem. I can ride in any circumstance, with any number of people, on any road, at any speed...and I will never endanger myself or others with my riding. Makes no difference if I'm riding alone either. IMO, don't stop the rides and withhold the fun for others because of a few hooligans. Speak with the problem people and ask them to comply with safer riding when in the group(s) and if they do comply...great. If not...ask them to leave and don't come back. Sometimes ya gotta dump the PC and thin the herd. If its just a learning to ride in line with groups issue...maybe a little coaching could help. But again, I say, "If you no comply you no ride with us".
