legal to ride 4 wheelers @ San Louise pass?

My in-laws are renting a beach house near the San Louise pass on the Surf Side side of the pass. I would like to take our 4 wheelers down so my son and I could ride. You used to be able to ride over there legally but I don't know if we can anymore.

Dose anyone know if you can ride quads over there legally?

Thanxx, Jay

seriously doubt it, you cant on all the other beaches. The beach is considered public road almost now, no drinking and driving, posted speed limit and wear a seat belt.

is San Louise in Brazoria or Galveston County, find out which and call the sherifs office.

You can ride pelican island, 30 min from the pass.

last time I was down there, I saw a ton of guys on buggies and quads so even if youre not technically supposed to my guess its that they sort of look the other way as long as you don't douchebag it up.

I'm going to take them anyway. I'll be riding with my 4 year old son so we won't be douchebaging. I'll also use mine to haul the jetski down to the water. How big a ticket can it be anyway??
