Not James Bond

I would never recommend this course of action Ever! What did she think at that split second to make her do that? Did she see this done in the movies somewhere or what?

Woman Injured After Jumping On Thief's Car

http://www.click2houston.com/news/13828764/detail.html

HOUSTON -- A woman was injured when she tried to stop a purse thief early Monday, officials told KPRC Local 2.

Houston police said a man approached two women in a motel parking lot on West Little York Road near Green Meadow Lane at about midnight.

The man took the women's money and purses, police said.

Investigators said the man got into a green sedan and started to leave. The women jumped on the back of the car and the man kept going, police said.

One of the women fell off a few blocks down the road and was not injured. Another woman held on for about half a mile before she fell off, officials said. She suffered a head injury and was transported to Ben Taub Hospital for treatment.

The man got away.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

Not James Bond, more like Homer Simpson. The purse and whatever was in it can be replaced no matter what, your life can't. They're lucky the didn't end up dead or shot in the first place. These days the thugs will put a bullet in you for "entertainment purposes" and little else.

There was a guy riding a bike, here in Houston back in the late 70s, that saw a woman being beaten in a car on the South Loop.
The dude came up alongside the car and at freeway spped jumped from his bike and grabbed the edge of the sunroof (open). He climbed on top of the car and started beating the driver. The driver stopped and the motorcycle dude held him 'til the cops showed.
A local shop gave him a new bike to replace the one that crashed. He was all in the news being called superman and a hero.

So I kicked his ...
