Tell us more about you Don...
Have you ever ridden?
How old?
What kind of riding are you interested in?
Where ya from?

In any case, leave room in the budget for gear. It's not optional

And, yeah. What bumblebee said. We need to know more...and get yourself geared up.

First and foremost, thank you all for the warm welcome.

I only rode when I was a kid on a 90cc Suzuki with all-terrain balloon tires, it was cut short due to parents divorce and life. I'm 31 and starting to get my life on track and will be purchasing a cruiser(heavy set) hopefully before the end of the year and if not then no later than March. I'm from a little bit all over as I've lived in West Texas, East Texas, Michigan, Arizona, and have settled in Houston. I plan on being a daily driver but wouldn't mind a long ride every now and then to change things up.

I don't wave. I hold my left arm at a 45 degree angle with two fingers pointed at the ground. You're welcome
