Rider Dead in Pasadena

PASADENA, Texas - Pasadena police say a motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Pasadena.

Officers said the motorcyclist was speeding down Pasadena Boulevard while a car was making a left turn from Lafferty Road onto Pasadena Boulevard.

There is a slight curve in the road, and the driver of the car did not see the motorcyclist. According to police, the motorcyclist slammed into the car.

The rider was taken by Lifeflight in critical condition to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he later died.

The driver of the car was not hurt.

Officers say no charges are expected to be filed.

Driver didn't see motorist. But yeah, you are right, he ran him down intentionally in cold blood. Totally.

I am of the opinion that there is no such thing as an accident. Someone was not paying attention and someone else died. Very easy to blame the motorcyclist.

Sometimes curbs, utility poles, and elevated ramps are to blame

Well speeding into a blind corner is definitely a cause of someone not seeing you and having the time to react.

My Pa was murdered by the rear tire on his trike.
Jerome was murdered by a wheelie.
In high school my best friend was murdered by a guard rail.
Fred was murdered by the two little girls in the back of the SUV if you read my post yesterday.

Whatafuck is wrong with you man.....? Let the dead be dead and take your political blame game and gtfo.

I will take the tongue lashing. I just hate that someone can say a bike was speeding and that excuses the fact that they just killed somebody.

Having a motorcycle just smash into your car is probably a little traumatic, not to mention someone dying.

Kid thought he was invincible and found out otherwise. I Thought the same thing at that age and wound up in the Navy. His stupidity took him out and did untold damage to the person driving the car.
RIP to junior and may the people in he car find peace

The bend is 500 feet from the intersection. 100ft per second is 68 mph and that would be five seconds. Lets just say the car he hit was just turning on the street as he came around the bend and saw the car, would he with his limited experience be able stop before he got to the car. But wait, the car is moving and should be out of the way by the time he got there. Unless he was going much faster then 68 mph through that bend then all this changes. I believe in the eyes of the law if the rider was going only 5 mph over the speed limit he would be found at fault. In most accidents there is some blame to both parties and I think it is true in this case.
