Daily Craig: They did it again

The Texans have done it every year they have been in business. I didn't like it in YEAR ONE and I don't like it now. It is UN HOUSTON. It is against every thing we hold near and dear as Houston football fans. I can't imagine why BOB MCNAIR ALLOWS IT TO HAPPEN. Dom Capers did it. Gary Kubiak did it AND NOW BBO is doing it. THE TEAM issues a number 34 to a player who in almost every case will contribute nothing to the overall effort.

The number 34 is SACRED. iT WAS EARL AND ALWAYS WILL BE. Oh, I know it's a different franchise. I know the TEXANS would just as soon forget the OILERS EVER EXISTED. It would be wise to listen to me. As along as that number is issued the current pro team has done next to nothing. Winning the AFC South is like finishing second in a one man race. The poor fellow drawing 34 this year? Fourth round pick, Tyler Ervin of San Jose St. He is a return specialist. Sure he is. THE RETURN SPECIALISTS FOR HOUSTON ARE THE FANS.

I mean no disrespect, but for crying out loud TEXANS. Stop issuing the most important number in our city's history. NOLAN, HAKEEM, EARL, TYLER ERVIN? i REST MY CASE.
