That being said, I wouldn't fix that if I were you, does not look like you lean over very far so you'll probably do the same thing next time you need to make a turn.

Don't listen to them sweetheart. They're just haters because a pretty girl can out ride them. It's obvious to me that you just dropped it. This is something I understand.

Take the $4K. Flour, Water, a little Elmer's, and news paper.

Done

But if it really is you, and somehow in the future a snake actually does bite that cute little hinder of yours, just let me know. I know a sure fire way to get the poison out in a jiffy. Wow turning into a flame thread? And youre going to try and tell me it didnt fall haha okay. Chicken strips are because i used this bike to commute to work. The scratchs are cause it was a fell on uneven ground and slid against cement. Thanks everyone else for the actual useful input and as far as bikes not being for everyone, you learn to ride before you drive. Dont think youre special cause you have one lol.

my rule of thumb: Unless it is essential to the mechanical integrity of the bikes ability to be ridden.. Put the money in the bank and ride it like you stole it...

I don't mind scratches.. I had a pretty bike not too long ago and I hated it.. much rather have something solid, not as pretty, less to worry about when I want to hooligan around.

You can also put stickers/decals on the scratches or totally remove the fairings and make it a "street-fighter".

......... ruining a totally good bike.

CBR1000RR - not FUGLY1000SF

Just have your wife ride it over so I can get some pictures. I'll take a few of the bike too and get you a price.

You said you got a $4k check, right? We'll save you a ton of money. Judging by the pictures I'd say about $3998.27.

Bummer. That's a nice bike. Seems like you really want the bike to be in perfect shape. Just search ebay for parts. The dealer prices are expensive. Get a manual and it will walk you through removing that stuff. I can do it and I've had 12 concussions and am mildly retarded.

I think it could be argued that anyone who spends much time posting on motohouston is likely at least mildly retarded, and I don't exclude myself from that.
