08/05 Sunday NW/Forest Ride

Meeting time: 7:30am
Kickstands Up: 8:00am
Meeting spot: Chevron at I-45 and 242 (NW corner of the intersection check the map.)
Where: NW/Forest
Length: 146 miles total
Riding Time: 3 hours
Total Time: 4-5 hours
Stops: 3 (Kings Cafe rest/breakfast, Anderson rest, Waller rest/lunch)
Pace: Speed Limit
Map: Map

I'm going to try this again, I have revamped the route and added in 3090. First stop will be Kings Cafe to get breakfast (they have an awesome breakfast special for $2.99) and rest. Then we will head through the forest and stop at Anderson for a short rest/refreshment. We will head north and come back down 3090 to Navasota. From there we will take 105 east and head down 362 to Waller (HWY6 and 290). We will rest here I believe they serve BBQ so we may eat (depending how everyone feels). Then we will head back to our intial starting point at I-45 and 242. Anyone who wants to break off before the initial starting point is free to do so just let me know!

If you are interested please copy the previous name list and add your name to it.

Hehe, yeah, I saw that... I was just saying, as long as the ride stays to within the posted 3-5 hour limit, I should be fine. I guess my thought didn't come thru correctly... :eh:

One other note, 362 was under construction north of 1488, anyone know if they are done?

Yeppers, two weeks ago the construction was up and running on 149.

Sounds like someone needs to pop out and go do a quick pre-run to check the roads...

Rain or Shine I'm not going to change routes tomorrow, hopefully it doesn't rain early tomorrow. This will be a moderate pace nothing extreme. I rode 149 all the way to Anderson on 07/22 and it seemed fine then. Has it changed since?
