Me too. I just turn on my off road led lights and blind the person coming the other way that has hids. My little pods are way brighter than hids.

I wanted to believe OP was talking about a projector retrofit. I knew he wasn't, but I wanted to believe...

HID bulbs in reflective housings are retarded. The beam scatter blinds oncoming traffic and to make matters worse, they are actually LESS effective at illuminating the roadway than conventional bulbs. If you do a projector retrofit (expensive) then they're great because the beam is low and wide.

Exactly! I actually think it's a character flaw. Think about it. Guy knowingly buys illegal lights brighter the the sun itself. Knowing how bright they are and how they affect other drivers by aiming two welding arcs into oncoming traffic completely blinding whoever has the passing him. Still thinks to himself after plopping down money at some flea market. yeah! This is the mod that make this thing cool. No regard for anyone.

You're really cool man....

Yer alright Toe! Proud to call you my friend. Lets run for President. You and me pal. What say you? You can be President, cuz like no one ever got famous for shooting a VP so I'll feel safe.

Kiddin-

I've just seen so many "un-focused" HIDs on bikes, cars, and those jacked up pickups that run up yer at a traffic light and you get a sunburned face from the rear view mirror.

Wah wah wah. Someone call the wahmbulance. I'm having a heartawah. I'll have a wahburger and french cries.

In actually i was never bothered by motorcycles with hid lights and they never blinded me hence the reason i chose to convert to them. If i did experience such instances i probably would have never chosen to buy hids. Since i know now I'll probably put back my 35 dollar Sylvania silverstar ultra i picked up at autozone
