Solracer's Super Awesome ADVENTURE Hill Country Ride 2016.3 Sept. 23,24,25.

As some of you know, I'm planning on leading another trip out on another one of my "adventure rides". This will be the 3rd and final ride of this year.

***What to expect on this ride***

How much? The entire trip should cost less than $200 if you split gas/trailer and hotel. The includes all fuel for truck and bikes and food.

How many miles? : Roughly 530 miles, 14.5 hours over the 2 days. We make several stops for food, gas, and photos.

When? Leave after work on Friday ,August the 23rd, stay 2 nights in Austin and return the night of Sunday the 25th.

What should you expect? : All kinds of roads. long and swoopy, narrow and tight, water crossings (you may drive through water), cattle guards, sweet jumps(you WILL catch air), and some gravel. You should also expect beautiful scenery.

Pace? I'd call it intermediate, you may call it something else.... This isn't for new riders, this is more suited for guys who know their bike and limits. These guys aren't afraid to get a little dirty and have some fun. Cops aren't an issue except in one town which we wouldn't be hauling anyhow.

Your motorcycle? Should be well maintained and in good running condition. I prefer it could do at least 100, but not really necessary. Stretched Busa's would NOT have fun on this ride. I've had all kinds of bikes go on these rides and most everyone has a great time. (I used to lead with a Ninja 500r.) Tires and chain should be in good condition.

This gives you an idea of where we will be riding.

Screenshot 2016 03 18 10 41 54 zpsj29zwcad

If the weather doesn't cooperate with us (Rain), we will go in October.

We will leave after work on Friday and stay the night in Austin on Friday night, Ride Saturday and Sunday. Return home Sunday evening.

I want to do this sometime. Do you trailer the bikes to Austin or ride there?

We've done it both ways. Here lately we trailer. I'm trailering for sure. Your bike would be a great fit for this ride.

Possibly on mine, if not, I'm sure someone will.

I've booked a room. 3(or more) of us can stay in it.

I can bring an air mattress. Split 3 ways is $20/ night each ($40 total)

Bean and I plan on trailering for sure....probably will grab our own room. Unfortunately, my trailer is limited to 2 bikes...and no more truck bed. Did you really book a room this far out not knowing the weather? You're Mr. Indecisive wait 'til the last minute kind of shot caller I thought? They transfer to a later date?

I booked the room because I learned my lesson from the last trip when we were scrambling to find a room at 11pm at night lol

Ask Bevo.
