Not really any good at it, I had originally just wanted to try it out, just cause Roman kept begging me to do so, and it's cool, but I just don't seem to have the nerves for it, I spook to quick, not too mention how broke I am.

Kinda wanna put my guns into drag racing for now, i seem to be doing pretty good in that. I'll do this track day on the 12th see how it goes and then make a final decision.

No reason to , just keep trying and it will come with time. Believe me it is easier to give up than to keep going. You just might suprise yourself on what you can accomplish doing track days. I like TWS (Texas World Speedway), which I would think you would also like better. As we all know that it is going to be the last year there, which sucks. So time for a change, and start doing days at MSR, GSS, Eagle, Cresson, and other tracks. Plan on gettin pretty deep into the sport and maybe one day even race. Next year I will be getting my lic, this year is a learning experience for me. IF I have to I will work 2 jobs, one just to do track days.

Just don't have it in my heart that much to work 2 jobs, and I wasn't very impressed with the staff at TWS (Texas World Speedway). They weren't very proactive in helping me it seemed where MSR was throwing help at me even when I thought I didn't need it. I enjoy a certain level of "we are family" and I just didn't get that at TWS (Texas World Speedway).

which org did you ride with at TWS (Texas World Speedway)??

If it was with LSTD, and you weren't in a class and didn't ask for help from an instructor, then why put down the staff?

Didn't put anyone DOWN they just weren't proactive at being as helpful as they are at MSR, matters on what group I was in. Furthermore the young lady that Henry did advise me to stick with seemed like I was holding her up with my questions and didn't bother to advise me on anything else for the rest of the day.

no biggie, I just didn't feel as welcomed, ur kinda off on ur own out there, and I be needing guidance.

then again you have 25-30 people with 4-6 instr. at msr vs. 60-75 people with 8-10 instr. typically we have about 20 students that instructors must dedicate their time to also. most people who go to msrh are no strangers to the track or their own abilities to ride. you aren't comparing apples to apples here.

spectating is free at any and all Trackdays. If it is a race weekend, you must pay, not the T/D org. but, rather paying the Racing org. IE: CMRA.
