To me the funniest place was the refinery! Most Central, fit the most people, and if you have issues getting service, you probably shouln't just stand at the bar hoping they see you. You have to make yourself known. Maybe they could dedicate a beverage tub just for us. Manned by an umbrella girl would be sweet! You

Also asking we'll never find a perfect place, but the access and location was awesome to me because we could all fit on pick nick tables, and hang by the bikes.

Parking doesn't seem to be the issue, not being able to see your bike while it's parked does.

  • Must WANT us there.
Did the refinery not want us there? Thought they liked us? And they have parking in place and across the street.

Why do we need to see the bikes? Why not go outside and congregate around the bikes when you feel like it?

Can't get much more central than that .

You think they got enough parking though? It looks small on google street view but maybe it's just the angle. Either way, we should give it a shot.

Not a problem for me at all. Something TMax brought up in another thread.

This was my suggestion:

The Last Concert Cafe would be a great spot. Plenty of room inside and outside, good Mexican food, Wed night drum circle, no cover if you tell them your there to eat, live band. Only issue may be parking as its on the street and usually fills up fast. I know the owner and could possibly get an area blocked off for motorcycle parking only. I can also have them reserved an area for just the group.

Ill post it up towards the end of the month. The meet wont be till Sept 7th.

Lets try to make this one as big as possible. Get the word out to everyone you know. I'll contact the Refinery and get this going.

isnt that why ya'll changed venues? Parking was too small?

Also i remember people complaining about food and beer prices... a beer, burger and fries was like $20bucks.

Lest you people forget.

I was there last week and it wasnt that bad. They have a "pint night" type thing. it was like $5 for a glass and your first beer and then $3 after that...or something close to that...
