I think come October it will be a lot easier to find a place in which you'll actually be able to sit outside, see your bike and not melt.

NW Monday Night Meets that start at 6pm, we are always outside.

All you need is a little shade.

also this is a condition caused by sitting in a bubble at 72 degrees all day long.

Your body will adapt, if you dont let your mind take over.

I agree. And the shade helps, but you can't hide from the humidity.

Ya can't hide from it, but we live in Houston. We should be used to breathing water. Doesn't that make us amphibious?

Believe me, I know. I work in a warehouse with no a/c. And not enough air movement even with fans running. I do take advantage of having an office when needed but it doesn't get the work done if I'm in here.

We just need a place for the central meet with both a patio for us smokers and an interior with a/c for those who want to escape the heat for a bit. And food, not on a taco truck.

Yeah I think the big problem that we've been running into is that even if it does have an inside and outside is that you can't always keep an eye on the bikes due to the parking situation.

I still say Last Concert Cafe on Wednesday nights is a great place to meet

Live Oak Bar and Grill on Hempstead Hwy
just outside the 610 but not by much
awesome outdoor shaded patio, probably seats 100+
indoor seating not so big but a couple semi private rooms with big screens for the A/C wussies
plenty of perimeter parking in view of patio
good food and prices

They could block off the area close to the food trucks. It is 23 and up for many many good reasons. Cool spot. Stop being captain negative, FF.

Captain negative? I don't think the many members under 23 would agree. I've met plenty of 50 year olds with he personality of a child.

Looks cool online. I think I would feel guilty asking south and southeast members to ride to the northwest side in afternoon traffic though.
