M4 street slayer question / R6

Anyone happen to have a street slayer slip on on there R6? There is a black spacer that attaches the slip on to the bike, anyone happen to know if that little black spacer should be moving back and fourth , or if it's supposed to be snug?
lets be CIVIL!
