next mh meet n greet

this is just a continuation to just a thought

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=34000

if you dont wanna read the link,,, i think we should pick a place that can better acomidate us in seating, and more like setttin up tables together , making it one big table, like golden corral or a different place to eat. anyone else agree, or have any good ideas, or if everyone would rather hooters, its everyones decision, im just throwing my 2 cents out there

Everytime and everyplace we have held the meet and greet dinners, people always complain abount seating and service. When you get that many people into a place everything will not be 100%. Just relax, chill, chit chat, and eat.

I think the best, and simplest way to put it...
is if you want somewhere/something different.

Get up and take care of it, find a place. Talk
to the management, make the arrangements etc.

Service was great good job Tango Dam I did not bring my camera I wanted to take a picture with the pregnant waitress :BangHead:

I understand your points, but in reality only ONE person had an issue with their service last night and it was only because of an early mix-up that a waitress put their order in wrong and had to change it.

I will be changing it up... you guys will see a different location next week and there will be someone who might not like it. The difference is, If there was ONE place that everyone loved to go... I wouldn't need to be setting it all up because we would already be going there.

Secondly... if anyone went to the M&G just for the giveaway last night, your heart is not in the right place. I hope that everyone had a chance to meet Patrick and his guys so that all can see how genuine of a shop Motorcycles Unlimited is. This was not just a Promo for a shop but an event we can all just meet up and talk BS about our bikes. I do it because I LOVE this sport and want to grow within the motorcycle community. Last night was the FIRST time this year I felt ANYTHING like the riding commaraderie as there is up in the Baltimore/DC area as I experienced WEEKLY there. We had 76 people show up... On the rides in the DC/Baltimore area on ANY night, you can find 150-200... on a scheduled Ryders night you can expect 1000 bikes!! Up North you REPRESENT your Club with a Kevlar/Leather vest when you ride... Ruff Ryders, Twisted Souls, Team Shocker, Twisted Minds Freestyle, Team Chaos, Adrenaline Crew, Black Tigers, Millenium, Speed Demons, Platinum Dreams, GQ, BCSR and the Supreme Ryders all are clubs that represent in HUGE NUMBERS!! When you ride with some of these groups, if you can't split a cage at 140+ you aren't in... These guys are HARDCORE!! Some have Hazing and such but for them its a LIFESTYLE and when they go ride... its in HUGE numbers. If you listen to the song on my MySpace page, by Mistaforty... he's a wild 6 foot+ Busa rider that I rode with his group on occasion. These guys insane fast, but also a FAMILY of bikers. I never saw ONE of them go down... ever!

So what's all this for...? It takes just a little effort to put together a great event like last night. I threw it together with a lunch meeting, phone call and a few emails. Anyone can do such... I will gladly accept "MotoHouston Event Coordinator" hat and keep putting these together weekly!

there was a giveaway? :BangHead: haha.

i think we should try to set up a MH event during the day somewhere but have it more towards bringing in people who have something agasint bikes... at a park or something, have bbq, music, stuff to do, and bikes to look at... and chances are, if you write a letter to stores asking if they can donate something for the event, going in with a professional attitude, they would be more likely to donate small stuff or give a discount.

+1... I didn't about my food coming out last and me being one of the first to order.. My stuff was cold except for the cheese sticks. I think she forgot to put in my order and her boyfriend was telling her to get the food out fast. Anyway, I barely saw her which I didn't care about because she had a lot of tables but when she finally came around I told her I was only paying for the sticks.
+ Her tactfulness wasn't there, so I didn't bother. WE'RE AT HOOTERS!!!
