Plan on that otherwise it's going to be a real way to spend your vacation time.

You have to realize Flop doesn't have family that wants to see him

Yeah, and once you reach your destination you should breath often. It's highly recommended.

There are a lot of people who believe that, as well as recent research to suggest that your lifespan is limited by how many breaths and heartbeats you have expended...so maybe not the best advice.

I was merely offering friendly advice to not expect to do it in a day. However if you do that would be quite the accomplishment.

Again, be sure to register for the iron . http://ironbutt.com/about/about.cfm

its quite an accomplishment if you can get it done... on a motard of all things!!!

60miles a tank? YOu may want to bring that 5 gallon gas can after all.

ANd like Magicman said, "dont die".

I'm thinking around the 700 mile mark you're gonna stop thinking of this as an "easy" challenge.
By then you'll only have 10 or 11 more hours to go.

I agree with tmax, if you do it, that will be quite an accomplishment. Sort of a pointless one but....

I wish you luck. Be careful

Gas can is a good idea 60 mile range could be an issue in remote areas. Maybe rig up some saddle bag cans?

Good luck man. I'd be worried about breaking down somewhere. Especially in West Virginia

use earplugs. you dont realize what a toll it takes on you having to block out the white noise of the wind. earplugs turned a 350 mile daily ride that wore me out into a much more enjoyable ride and i had energy left once we were done
