Thankfully the salesperson told him to look for another salesguy and got him down to at least an R6.
Btw - that guy also hasn't bought any gear yet but a helmet. He saw my injuries and the gear I wore, then he got real quiet and thoughtful. I hope he gets good gear now.

I never have a problem keeping up on my 10 year old 600cc.

The power starts to drop off around 130mph but nobody needs to go that fast on the street anyway.

I know this isn't English class but to the people that say "your an idiot", honestley you're the idiot. Like I said, I guess it's just a pet peeve to me, but it's so annoying seeing that on this forum. :BangHead:

I'm glad I started out on a 250, there would of been so many times where I would of dropped the 600. Not that I'm a bad rider, happens though.

Then again, I had about 2 weeks of dirtbike riding experience before I got my 250. So putting me on a 600 would of been bad. :eh:

I agree no one needs to go that fast but its nice to know you have it.
I took my bike over 100 once and dont even feel the need to ever go that fast again. Now I would be luck to get it over 50.

Maybe he has seen so many newbies made that mistakes and assumed that it is just one more added to his experienced.:dontknow:

When I first got my 250 a guy at work was looking into financing an R1. Same age as me and way less riding experience. So none at all. :laughing6

Thank I talked him out of it.

Slower please.

So, because my mom didn't pop me out with this awesome true gifted talent of being able to ride a bike, I guess I am hopelessly screwed. Dang, forget it, I am not getting a bike again. Does anyone know where a stitching course starts in two weeks?
