Removing a power commander 5

Any one done this this before?

how easy or hard is it to remove an installed PCV on a 2015 diavel?
it looks like the wiring is going throughout the bike...

If i am able to remove it - am i with technical aspects of the bike?

please help.

I will eventually take it to Motorcycles Unlimited if needed - but just wondering if i can save some money there.

hey patrick...

man - i think its with the smoothness of the bike when shifting between gears...

on the diavel forum - everyone is raving about how tuneboy is millions time better - so i want to take this thing off and switch.

This PCV came with the bike when i bought it a year ago - but i dont think those guys ever tuned it right.

Eddy, I can take a look at the map and also make sure the TPS is synched.
You can also just "zero" the map that's in it vs removing it altogether.

Like Patrick said, setting it to zero will work just as well.

Yes, TuneBoy (or soon, woolich) is a better option, but you can make what you have work, and work well. Also, the PC5 accompanied by a flash actually does make for a good combo. We used to not think so, but have done hours of testing and have since changed our minds.

If you were interested in getting a full tune, rather than just removing the PC5 all together, give us a call at 832-964-3535. Otherwise, just take it to Patrick and make sure your TPS is synced. But if it has a map in it already, that may actually throw it off more and you'll want to zero it out until you are re-tuned.
