Former Olympian Sean Townsend passes torch to local gymnasts at Pearland Gymnastics A

Sixteen years after competing in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, Sean Townsend is using his gymnastics expertise to help kids how to reach their goals.

Townsend hopes that his gym, Pearland Gymnastics Academy, will be a place where local kids can have Olympic-sized dreams.

"If they can take the skills they've learned from me and make an Olympic team, I will feel very accomplished as a coach and a gym owner," Townsend said.

Pearland Gymnastics Academy gymnast Dylan Boldrighini feels lucky to learn from an Olympian.

"I think that's so special because he does so much to help us get better," Boldrighini said.
