You sir are correct, that was being confused. I apologize. I misunderstood. In that case, there's no f uckin' reason why they should not have the right to vote if technically they were still citizens. My bad, sorry for the confusion.

No problem at all. You actually make sound judgments and come to conclusions carefully, as you should. Figured you would understand once given a lil more information...

This has nothing to do with equal opportunity where race is concerned. I (a white male) have first hand knowledge of this since I'm currently dealing with charges against me. And trust me honey, they're not going to dismiss them just because of my skin color.
IS THERE AN AMENDMENT THAT GIVES U THE RIGHT TO VOTE, or do u fall under the constitutional right to vote. See us niggras had to FIGHT for the constitution to be ammended so that we could get the masa's permission to vote, got me. And quite frankly it me off when my peers don't take that opportunity during the elections.

The above being said i wouldn't expect u then to understand how your color in some eyes makes u somewhat inferior, b/c u've never had to deal with that as a black, or asian, or jew, etc.

EXACTLY, which is why to some degree I am empathetic with the leadership of our community right now, cause HEY THEY are stepping up, so I can't fault them for that.

In there eyes they don't want MV made an example of BEFORE he is SAID GUILTY, I can agree with that, but once he's been found GUILTY, it's nothing to be said.

I don’t have the stats readily available, but if you do not believe me, I will dig them up.

Unfortunately I can not put my own personal experiences in here as "statistics".

I think it is completely ridiculous to assume that "equal opportunity" is a reality for everyone in America. Sure, much has changed, but a lot hasn't.
statistically taller people make more then shorter people, and men make more then women.

statistically for the % there are more asians in college then % wise for whites or blacks or hispanics.

Which speaks to other forms of prejudice...ain't that nifty?

lil curious to see the asian stat though. We talking global percentage or just here in the US? I'm thinkin' a more accurate number (not overblown) would originate from a US only sample...

I have a question about the absentee LA ballot. Anyone can request the ballot by mail (according to LA law). Did anyone bother to do this or did they just protest because they could?

Actually they did, but never gave the citizens a clear alternative to finding this information, nor time for that matter. Keep in mind the city didn't know where some were and getting this info out was a little hard to do. Don't even get me into the fact that the city building that handles this information moved 2x's since it was flooded as well, so the location to send this ballot was lost amoungst several entities dispursing the somewhat outdated information.

It happened to be true. Lemme break it down:

1) b/c= because
2) u've=you have
3) never

...had to deal with it as a black, asian or jew

The comment comes from ur exhibition of ignorance in the subjects of equal opportunity and racism. If u seemed more knowledgable of the subject maybe I would have expected that u had been a victim of racism. White males aren't readily made victims of racism and that is what u called URSELF.

REGARDLESS ON WHEN IT HAPPENED IT'S STILL NOT AN INHERENT RIGHT OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY AS PHUCKING AMERICANS TO VOTE UNLIKE U, AND THAT'S THE INEQUALITY IN THE COMMENT.

Haven't said a thing about how u should feel, i actually said I wasn't attempting to demean ur situation.

give me a break indeed. You sir need to do some research and I am more than sure, you would see the remarks made by them and sheila jackson lee and the naacp during the texaco upper management fiasco.
lets remember, i'll refreshen your memory a bit.
the issue was an upper management, way upper management guy had made a racist remark, they were all about being on tv and blatantly say "we need to put a person of color in that position"!
to me, wtf does a persons color matter, why does it matter to them? I'm not even gonna go any further with the millions of racist comments they have made over the years, get a grip and read up.
