uuuuum, and the officer did what wrong? If the guy had the required state helmet sticker on his plate, he wouldnt have gotten pulled over, probably, who knows what he did to get the officers attention before he got there.
Learn the laws people and quit whining when you get caught if your not playing the game right.

if im correct than a helmet is optional if you pass the MSF course...so what happened would be like an officer pulling a car over just to see if they have a drivers license.
you sir, are not correct, read up and educate yourself.

crib notes...

Go to the usual meet place, on the usual night
No helmet, and warrants
Get caught (big surprise, seeing as how the cops are targeting that area due to all the squids and complaints)

about a cop doing his job

Do stupid stuff in the place the po-po's are already watching, what do you expect?

Ok first off the info is not all right...

the cop pulled in after 2 bikes that make the illegal u-turn. one stopped right after he pulled in and the other went further down and parked with everyone tryin to avoid him. in doin so the cop just walks up to this guy, that had been there for at least 5-10 min already, because he was sittin on a bike and asks for his info. he tells the cop he had been here for awhile and that he has the wrong guy. doesnt care. guy goes to set helmet down and then next thing i know he is gettin arrested. the only thing close to resistance was when the officers slammed him on car and he said that was uncalled for and tried was tryin to turn and face cop at same time. as for warrants those were not found til after he was already in car.

Some things about that story don't sound right. :-)

The cops are tired of all the BS up there in that area, on that night, so they will be extra hard to try and clear it out. All you have to do is be an adult and polite.

I don't get how you don't understand that being there puts you on the hot plate, and they are just looking for ANY reason. And obviously, the guy in question had a warrant and knew it. Other wise, all he had to do was say : sure officer, let me put my helmet down and grab my wallet.
And maybe the bike that pulled in looked similar, so he made a simple mistake? We all know all these sportsbikes look the same, right?

Note to gixxerjoe and knightrider, get the story straight before posting. Anything you say, can and will be held against you in the court of MH.
Gixxerjoe said got pulled over with no helmet, Knightrider said victim(?) with a warrant was innocent sitting on bike for 5-10 minutes by himself even though friends were inside together, admiring his bike or chilling by himself. Cops harrassed the wrong man and arrested him. Jury of MH, what is your verdict?

two totally different bikes, not even same color. simple mistake i guess, i mean the cop just went after first person he saw on a bike...the reason this thread is even started is cause the only cop that gives everyone problems is the one in question. i mean there was another hpd officer that came up there on a different call (couple wanna be thugs walkin around flashing a BB gun tryin to be cool) and he even said some stuff about this guy only goin after bikes and what not.

a) Two bikes made an illegal u-turn – Did I read ILLEGAL
b) One stopped – What happened to him?
c) The other one tried to blend with the crowd - The blender knew it was wrong
d) Officer picks a guy from the crowd and asks for information - Biker instead of doing what officer asked, he tried to tell it wasn’t him, officer doesn’t know if he is lying or not so, just give the info
e) Guy gets arrested – Biker had a warrant for his arrest
f) Blender guy came up and told the officer he had the wrong guy and that it was him? – Did he get flamed for that?

Not a lot to rant about the cop IMO
