Today, tomorrow, this weekend? Ken and Clark were talking about maybe going one morning this week before Carly goes back home.

I seriously doubt that it will be open. I hear that the SHNF is tighter than Cherokee!

The trails opened back up last tuesday, you will need a S/A on your quad to be "legal".
I'm out till next week.

My quad is fully legal...it's all stock, has the sticker, S/A and all. Except for that dangling front tire. Lol.

Most Stock exhaust come with one. But they are removable. Most people take them off right away. So if you bought it used, they may have taken it out.

Can I find out if it's still in there without having to drill out the rivets?

It would be stamped USFS approved on the can if it was a S/A
look up a company called Pro moto billet for a bolt on end cap with a sceen.
All aftermarket exhaust will probably make an end can with a S/A, mine is an FmF. $139.
