Woman dies in West Houston MC crash. 7-11-16

Seems like the guy lost control on the curve and she paid the price.

http://www.chron.com/houston/article...on-8351682.php

Quote:
A woman died early Monday morning when the motorcycle she was a passenger on hit a retaining wall on an elevated portion of Interstate 10 and she plunged about 40 feet to the freeway lanes below in west Houston.
The single-vehicle wreck happened about 12:30 a.m. on the westbound Katy Freeway near the West Loop, said Sgt. Isaac Duplechain of the Huston Police Department.
Duplechain said a man was driving the motorcycle westbound on the freeway when he took the exit ramp to the West Loop. He lost control of the motorcycle and hit the retaining wall. The woman was tossed off the motorcycle during the collision and fell over the wall, landing on the freeway below.
Female motorcycle passenger falls 40 feet off ramp to her death

The woman, whose name has not been released, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died.
The man was also taken to a nearby hospital. Details of his injuries and condition were not released.

RIP... I sometimes get an uneasy feeling when going over those elevated ramps. Mainly because of these stories and knowing that it can happen to anyone. Hopefully she was knocked out before the free-fall. I can't imagine the thoughts someone would have while dropping like that to their death... what sucks more is she died later in the hospital, meaning she was in pain that whole time.

Been on that ramp when being passed by a car and another time when a car hit the wall and was skidding around the corner almost taking me out. They really need a divider between the two lanes.

Condolences to her family and loved ones. So sad because she was completely helpless as the passenger. RIP
