Actually, I looked more closely at the traffic alert and I don't think it's going to affect us going outbound/west this time. Look at it again and see if you agree. Fairbanks N Houston (inside Bltwy 8) to 529 (just outside Bltwy 8). We should be fine coming from JV. Yay! And, like Shuhboogie said, coming home from Yankees there would be no reason to go back down to 290.

Nice try, 290 construction! You're not getting us this time!

If anyone wants to meet me at the Bucees at Mueschke Rd. and 290 I will be there at about 7:20. We can make the long grueling 20 minute ride to Waller together.

Wish I could say the same about the heat! If I didn't have to work out in it 5 days a week it wouldn't hurt my as much. Oh well, there's always November!

If I were going to go north on 249 I would go a bit further and take 2920.
Not a faster route but it takes you to Waller and the ride is more enjoyable.

Going to be a large group tomorrow...the key to the ride going smoothly is each one finding there correct place in line...the first leg will be finding your place..if the person ahead of you is riding slower than you want to go pass them in a safe manner please...if your going slower than the person behind you please wave them past...please maintain a safe distance between you and the rider ahead of you...no crowding please...hopefully we will all be in the proper spot by the time we make our first stop...after that if we can maintain that same order it will make things go much smoother...dont forget to fuel up and be ready to go at 8am...we will not wait for anyone that is going to be late...check your bikes over tonight...chain lubed?...chain adjusted?...tire pressures correct?...tires in good shape?...this will help the ride go much smoother...

For the slower riders please dont try to press to keep up if you get a little behind...i will slow down in the straights to let group catch up...the ones in the front pay attention to me because after the corners i will be slowing to posted speed or a few over to let group catch up...

With this large of a group i feel i needed to post this to keep us all safe...we look forward to riding with all of you...hopefully everyone will enjoy the day...

Got my in my shop and checked out ready to roll....a must do before any ride. Check tire pressures, chain adjustment and lube, oil (change) and coolant levels and just make sure everything is tight and right!
