Obligated to family stuff the whole weekend and I want to replace my CCT before I do such a long ride. It's in the budget for next month, though!

But you don't have to wake up early and ride to Brenham.
My texting finger is thinking out loud here.

It was another great ride, today. Great route. And great to meet and hang out with other riders.

Thanks to all the guys who looked out for me, helped me out and kept me safe. (You know who you are.)

Big thanks to JAXPODT for buying us all lunch. Very generous of you.

Thanks to Morgstang for hosting these rides and for being such a great leader (except for that time he left the sweep behind...), and thanks to Shuhboogie for being sweep and for escorting me home.

I'm worn out...but in a good way. Had SO much fun today.
You are welcome. It was a fun day. And the way you outran that Lamborghini was impressive. You sure you're not running jet fuel in that Ninja?

Mine doesn't have her license yet. Or bike. Lol.

But she's super stoked to get both in a few months.

Question for everyone...during the summer months is it ok starting at 8?...trying to beat the heat...i can start earlier if needed...i can start later and do shorter rides also...any opinions are welcomed...also if you have ideas to make the ride better let me know...had a couple members make some really good suggestions that will help...feel free to comment...

As for now i dont want to limit group size or skill levels...seems we are doing really well with larger groups...everyone finds there correct place in line and it goes very smoothly..

We applaud all of you for riding safely and organized...its fun to lead a well behaved group...

KSU at 8 is good I think. I like riding about 4 hours. Eating lunch, then being home by 2-2:30. Just my .02.....

I think 7:30 or 8 am ksu is good and pick a lunch place with quick service..keep the ride under 200 miles and be home by 1.. that's what I usually do..today we left at 8 and were home by 1 with a good lunch break and 3 stops.

Saturdays route was a fairly long one...i have a number of different routes available...might be a good idea to get the groups opinion on how long they want to ride...some make a long ride to get there and even longer getting back home...i can make ride lengths anywhere from 2 to 4 hours or longer...

Ive lived here all my life and still dont know the road names...when Eddy made the ride map he posted i had to talk to him on the phone and tell him directions as in turn right here or left here and he tracked it on the map...im very good at predicting times but not mileage...

according to my mileage. It was around 180. And that was with me missing one short loop of the ride.

It's all good though. It's the weekend.
