we made it up that way this past Saturday but not all the way to 3090. There was a bit of construction further down 149 on the far side of the Forrest...and a bunch of gravel...:confused1

Ever since I've stopped riding the streets, I've seem to be much more aware of how $hitty our streets actually are. Gravel/Potholes/Constuction/Tar etc...
Everytime I regret not having a daily driver, I end up bottoming out in one of our infamous pot holes.

I think tracks are a gift from .
Now if he can just get this feeble body back in top shape!

That was my take on it two weeks back. And constuction on 149, but I don't recall how far out... does it start past Richards or east of Richards?

Close, Mike did that to his SV on 3090... :icon_bigg:confused2

On second thought, the road did turn, so it was 3090's fault

Yea man,
I'm done with the streets.
I do miss them from time to time but I still think the track is a much safer option for me.
I cannot seem to keep the bike in within legal speeds on the streets.
I've become a much better rider on the track and I feel that I'm very competitive. The streets are not a place for me to be competitive. CMRA and TMGP etc...

Other than the tar snakes, gravel in the middle in the turns, and off camber odd radius curves, why?

:confused2

Sure at about 20 mph

I know of another nasty road up around Livingston. Tight, off camber, turns over crests..

If plowing the front and then sliding the rear bothers you, better not go too fast on it

good fun!

Yeah lots of tar snakes, but its not too bad if you dont go out, I can think of only a couple of turns that the snakes are realy a problem, and they are right at the beginning, that decreasing blind left hander is a b**** aint it:confused1:confused1:confused1, ask reidlos he knows
j/k, but seriously. Still a good road, the last mile or so is the best IMO.
Keep it safe.
