2001 SV 650 (my track ), 2005 SV 650s

Twice lucky ... cops are nice ...

So, this past Sunday I take my daughter to Frobergs for some fried pie ... they are the bomb ... on the way back I get pulled over by an Alvin cop saying I was doing 60 in a 45. Can't argue ... because I was ... he of course asks me what's my hurry ... my quick answer? "On the way back from Frobergs sir and my daughter needs to go to the potty" Of course it helps to have a 4 year old in the back seat doing the dance. He then gives me a verbal warning and tells me he understands the situation, but try and keep it down.

Today, on the way in to work, I get pulled over by a Friendswood cop for not comeing to a complete stop at the corner of 518 and 2351 ... I've got the red, but there is no cross traffic so I make the turn onto 2351 without stopping. I'm wearing my full gear, boots, helmet, leather jacket and overpants ... he checks my license and comes back saying ... "look, you've got a clean record and I can tell you are a safe rider ... just remember the rules ... got to come to a complete stop regardless what the cross traffic is like." and lets me go with a warning. Cool.

yep, it helps to not be looking squiddish... think about it this way, if a referee in basketball looks all ragged and makes a bad call he'll hear all about it, but if he made the same call looking really neat and professional, he wouldn't get near as much grief... it's all about how you look

The other night I flew by a LEO on a certain road and my radar detector went nuts. When they use that laser , there's absolutely no warning of it if youre the only one on the road :( I grabbed a handful of brake and slowed, but I'm pretty sure he already tagged me.

Luckily, he didn't bother with pulling out after me... no idea why.

Ninjette luck, if you ask me!
