I've always had good experiences with HD/Cruiser riders when one on one, but get them in a group and they never acknowledge my existence ... at least not politely.

I think it's just a group mentality.

he should have just told them, "yeah, my bike is really slow" and try to sound serious about it, they would have been scratching thier heads dumbfounded

yeah, it's called groupthink. one is scared to speak out and thinks he'll be the oddball. but if one said hi nicely, most of the others prolly would too

I had some problems last Friday night on the Goldwing. Pulled up to Knucklehead(local biker bar) cranking the radio. Some Gypsy dude with his gypsy friends had to smart off and say I heard the radio couldn't hear the bike though real smart aleck-y. At the same time a couple of other dudes said man that bike has got reverse huh? Cool. They said.

So anyway the drunk gypsy dude kept giving me about not being able to hear the bike really kinda of me off. So when I left I really cranked some loud Rage Against the Machin's "Down Rodeo" and did a crazy burnout(almost got away) and then slammed on the brakes before I darted out into the street.

The next day I went back to knucklehead and some dude said man you shut those gypsies up when you burned out out of here. He said their jaw just dropped. Like dang those wings have got some power and good brakes.

Other than that everytime I see harley on the highway I pass them doing Christ airs or other stunts just to freak their .
