I'm always out in the middle of nowhere anyway.

Bastrop/Beuscher actually works out well for us - the less-than-better-half lives in San Antonio at present.

Let me know how this one goes and maybe we can have another one in about two months. By then I should be ready to ride again for sure.

Right now it is just a opinion thread; will more than likely not happen until Sept at earliest, at least for me.

Cajun.. route is up for discussion, where does everyone want to go?

Just kidding...hopefully we will be able to make but the first two weekends in August have me pinned up.

As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for the RA, I bet she'd be out there showin' off with some of you stunter guys.

But yes, Saturday would work great and I'm open to any of the routes...
Same with my girl...can't realy tolerate the long distance rides...I have a Sequioa so we can pile the womens in there...just a thought.

My GF and I both ride, and we're always looking for rides. I like the food/picnic idea, especially if there will be someone caging it there/back. I will be riding my Motard, so 70-75 is my cruising limit, with short bursts to 130. We live near pearland, and all I really know in this area is Crabb River Rd, and then there is a sweet park in Angleton called Brazos River County Park off of CR521. I can't think of any other nice roads to cruise, and i haven't made it that far outside the city. I think we would definitely be up for a ride any time saturday/sunday/or friday afternoon (9/80 schedule).

Edit: "short bursts up to 103 mph" (it's a 650 thumper)

Sounds like there is enough interest to do a couple, split up the group between Sat and Sun on different dates.

So which would y'all rather do, ride to a park for a picnic, or go out to somewhere like Fayetteville or up north to lunch, then back?
