In St. Luis I saw two bicycles lift off the top of a mini van that got totally annihilated by and 18 whlr. Drafting the trailer were a group of 5 or 6 Harleys and they all plowed right through the debris field. Luckily they all made it, but they pulled over right away.
Post up some video of that. Done that for years on a bicycle. Over branches, railroad tracks, etc. I would like to see it done with motorcycles.

Cool, now let's see that done as a split second reaction to a road hazard.

Okay but I don't think it would have helped that guy. Besides I think you can only do it if you have that mindless guitar killing noise in the background.

My sons had to do it at part of the test before they could get their M class license. Basic riding skill. Webster DPS made them bunny hop over three concrete parking lot wheel chocks and drift on the curvy part of Bay Area Blvd.

Yes. Actually had to demonstrate the ability for accident avoidance and vehicle control beyond posted speeds. I had to sit in the passenger seat of the squad car. I'm estimating, but I don't believe we got quite to triple digit speeds though.

MotoHouston used to have an active stunters section....but, they didn't mesh well with all the track gurus I guess. Not sure where they're at these days, but locals have been doing the hops for a few years. I remember when Miguel showed me for the first time....maybe 2011ish? No loud guitar riff in this 5 second video.

I'm glad he came forward and owned up to his mistake. That's what I'm talking about!

Never ever follow a rig like that. And if they pass you, get away as soon as you can.
That's the "what if this happens" scenario we should all play out when riding.

And stay away from 18 wheelers!

All those chunks of rubber along the highways came from exploding tires. Sometimes they throw the tread so you have warning but I have seen a tire just explode.

No, advance warning, just bang and there were pieces of rubber big enough to wipe you off a bike flying everywhere. I stay well away from them ever since.
When you pass one, don't mess around, get on past it.

Yesterday I was out riding near Branson and saw a truck pulling a boat with the same type flotation device strapped on the swim platform just like in the video.

Did you get right up on his to check out how he had it strapped down?
