On fb I said he never should have been following behind the boat. Some says Ive clearly never rode bikes.... Hey dumbass, Im alive because I avoid situations like this one. No way in would I ride behind a vehicle with flapping in the wind. Not even lawn mower trailers. happens

agree w/ that! avoid trailers like the plague. not just the grit, gravel and occasional chain link that drops off them but knows what piece of loose cargo.

I would love to know if the driver stopped, what it costed him in the way of tickets, can you sue someone over that???

Not just following a boat, but hanging out in the passing lane with noone occupying the middle lane.

Seems like a 650/250 type bike, minimal gear, my guess is a newer rider who didnt know better.

If he doesn't know how to bunny hop, he shouldn't be riding. Geeze- everyone knows how to do that. Basic maneuver.

In St. Luis I saw two bicycles lift off the top of a mini van that got totally annihilated by and 18 whlr. Drafting the trailer were a group of 5 or 6 Harleys and they all plowed right through the debris field. Luckily they all made it, but they pulled over right away.

Looks like a "lilly pad" float. Those things are pricey!

That's what I thought too. With that tumble and shorts on, I'm sure he's hurting.

I'm also amazed he lived, seems how it didn't sound like he had a loud pipe on that bike.

I get paranoid as **** behind anything like that.

Ladders (usually secured with a single 12 year piece of rubber), furniture, all that

don't ride behind it

I'm temporarily up here in HD country, back in February a girl flipped her car on 94 coming into Milwaukee because of a mattress laying in the road. Happened at night. This happens all the time. Pieces of plastic yard chairs are along any freeway.

What's the big deal about that?? If the driver has his hand on top of the mattress holding it down to the roof, its totally legit. Even more so, if he has passengers doing the same thing.
