Houston 610 TT

From Facebook:
=========================

Two weeks from tonight the first annual Houston 610 TT will hit the streets of Houston for the first time!!! The Houston 610 TT will be held on Interstate 610 in Houston Texas on the night of Sunday July 10th 2016. The race will take place around the full 38.1mi (61km) long length of Interstate 610.
Registration:
- All riders must register for the race by E-mailing their information (First Name only, Make & Model of bike and class they will be racing in) to HOUSTON610TT@GMAIL.COM by no later than 07/09/16.
Requirements:
- The rider must be riding the motorcycle that He/She registered.
- All riders must have a smart phone. Every rider will be required to download the Rever Tracing and Maps App. This app will be started before the race. At the end of the race each racer will have to provide their phone to show that they completed the entire loop. (The app tracks the route taken, the time the rider begins and ends, the time it took to ride the route, the average speed of the rider)
- Each rider will be required to pay their entry fee in cash before the beginning of the race.
Pre-Race:
- Racers will meet with the Houston 610TT Race Officials for pre-race instructions ( location will disclosed to registered racers )
- Once the Start/Finish locations have been disclosed to riders they will have 30 minutes to fuel and prep their motorcycles before the race begins.
How it will work:
-The race will be started in waves of 5 riders. If there are more than 5 riders in any class, groups of 5 will be staggered 60 seconds apart. The rider with the fastest time will win.
- Start and Finish locations will be disclosed to the racers on the night of the race after they have registered and paid.
- The race clock will start when the first racers are released from the starting line. Addition waves that are released after the first wave will have their corresponding hold times subtracted from their ending time.
Post-Race:
- Riders will meet at a designated Post-Race location.
- Winning riders will receive their winnings and Trophies!!!

I have no idea. Most likely not. Is it legal when you guys are doing triple digits on 149? is going to be the same here, like all the racing Wednesdays nights.

I am just re-posting the FB post because most of the members on this board are into racing, track days and back roads.

I am not sure many people here could relate to the shenanigans that will be taking place during this event.

If I could euthanize everyone who is involved with this "event", I would. The fact that this is even going to happen has caused me a severe loss of brain cells.

Are you drunk, high, or just stupid? You can select multiple responses.
