Icon Helmets. Any Good?

Just helmet shopping. I like the Scorpions because I heard they are just as good as Shoei. Any opinions on Icon gear?

Almost all helmets are good there all going to protect your head if you dont have the money for an Arai or Suomy then that will do.

Icon helmets tend to be on the heavy side, and, as Chris stated, there are much better helmets for the same price.

I used to wear Icon. After wearing the Arai, I would never go back. Icon is a fashion statement apparel and it's pricey. Check with Patrick or Moody for group buy on helmet. Maybe, it's not too late.

Anything from HJC to KBC on the middle level, to Suomy, shoei Arai on the high end.
Depends on how your noggin is shaped and what fits you best, we can help with that as well.

Finding something that fits properly is the way to go. I prefer Scorpion myself, fits good and price is nice.

I didn't mind spending $350 on a shoei because they're quality helmets. , I'd spend $600 on an Arai if I had the money available. A good helmet = the difference between concussions/trauma/death and not being a vegetable for the rest of your life... IMO

PM Moody about the helmet group buy. Stay away from Icon it's junk(my experience).
