CMRA NOLA Ninja 250R Sprint Videos - Rain Races

E Superstock - My first attempt at racing in the rain using actual rain tires. It was an interesting experience to say the least.

Thanks, Quan. It wasn't exactly a bucket-list item for me, but I'm definitely glad I can say I've done it. I'll be better prepared and less stressed out the next time it rains at the track.

Great job, I amazed me how much traction you get out of rains the first time i raced my R6 with them on. It is fun in the rain until the suit weighs 100lbs lol.

The traction is pretty amazing with rain tires! The only times it was questionable on the little Ninja was hitting deep standing water while leaned over in a corner. I generally tried to avoid doing that, but there were a couple of places where it was difficult.

I was also shocked by how much water a little bike can throw up going through deep puddles at speed - it was like Days of Thunder there for a couple of secs...
