Pull Your Head Out Your A**

http://abc13.com/news/missouri-city-...-stop/1389783/

A Missouri City Police Department motorcycle officer was sideswiped while conducting a traffic stop on Cartright and FM 1092.

Police say he was not on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.

A Missouri City Police Department captain tells us the officer was writing a ticket when a passing vehicle struck his motorcycle.

Traffic is being rerouted in the area. Use Dulles Avenue as an alternate route.

The driver of the truck that struck the officer's motorcycle was cited for failure to control speed and failure to yield right away to an emergency vehicle.

Dumbasses are multiplying. Between snapcrap, texting, etc. You cant go down the road without seeing ppl swerving from line to line/ not paying attention/ whatever.

It would be real nice for automakers to start incorporating the technology that is already in place to keep these dumbasses off their phones while the vehicle is in motion.

These stupid are breeding more stupid offspring and they are getting raised to do stupid , then their offspring is going to be even stupider. The world is going straight to . I think more beatings in public is the answer. Text and drive? Get your fingers smashed with a baseball bat! There I've solved the problem in 30 seconds...

I firmly believe idiocracy is happening. We'll just be dead by the time it gets to the point where the movie takes place.

Let's put it this way, I fear a texting/Facebooking teenage girl more than a drunk driver these days!

Down here the space is tight and people are always sight seeing and not paying attention already so you need to be aware of your surroundings because people are bad about switching lanes at the last second or slamming on their brakes to turn. You throw all that together with the texters and it turns into a warzone on the seawall

I know people (and have known more before) that enjoy scaring the out of a cop by zooming by close to them. Extra points if you can clip them with only your mirror.

(not me btw. I always move over. Not a fan of the police but I don't want to hit anyone either. For multiple reasons.)

I have been bashed so much for making a comment like this, but I stand by it.

Speaking in general; drunk drivers will be out on Thurs, Fri and Sat night, "usually" after midnight to about early morning and after sporting event.

Texting drivers are out 24/7 and in much higher numbers.

I'm a professional driver and rider using beepers, Cell phones, Franklin Coveys, PDA's, Smart Phones, since 1998 on the road with no incidents, and no need for me to knock on wood.

this is no different than the crowd that says, I'm drinking tonight, so i'm going to take the car rather than the bike.

Irony huh.

or republicans and democrats.

Sounds like they need a taste of their own medicine and see how much they like it. They can stand beside the road and i dont mind letting them see how it is. I got a full size gmc truck and a camaro. They can pick their poison
