She kept talking in his ear saying things like 'are you coming home with me'.... then he'd answer (over the microphone) - " no I ain't going home with you". I thought it was pretty funny.

Mine was icing up. At first I thought it was the blower motor capacitor (because the fan wasn't blowing hard) so I spent over an hour calling around for a replacement. Turns out the inlet side of the evaporator was filthy. You can't get to the inlet side from the access panel so I had to take the top of the evap duct off (another hour's worth of work).

I ended up running the water hose up there and rinsing it out. Used a shop vac to clean out all the .

This was my first attempt to work on home AC. That's tough work. I don't envy you guys!

Have you heard about what they're doing up north? At night they're using their AC systems to make ice. Then during the day they're using the ice to cool the offices. They claim that it's more efficient that using conventional cooling towers.

ha ya some one at carrier was trying to tell me, but he said they were using ice blocks.

I was thinking like back in the day when refrigerators used a giant block of ice.

I dunno man, it might work better up to a certain temperture.

OKay here is one..... On Saturday I was heading out to my honey's place and I was on the Westpark tollway. I get on by the FM1464 and I was driving, just passing HWY6 and all of a sudden this SUV in front of me hits the barrier on the right hand side. She then swerves to the left and hits the left side barrier. She then almost t-bones the right side barrier and her suv does a flip and a half. When it finally landed on the roof of the suv it slid a bit and hit the right side barrier and stayed in the shoulder. I slammed on my breaks and called 911. I jumped out of my car with glass every where and she was climbing out of the car and walked towards me full of blood all over her hands. She had glass all in the palms of her hand so I grabbed a shirt and wrapped it and I called her mom afterwards. 6 cop cars came, an ambulance, a fire truck, 2 fire emergency vehicles, and 1 wrecker truck. I was still freaking out because it all happened so fast. I waited till I wasn't shaking and my adrenalin went down. She said there was a spider on her leg, and I can't say anything because I am so scared of spiders. She was maybe 19ish years old. They put her in the EMS and I gave the officers the number she had given me to call her mom. When I left, I was just crying and ended up getting drunk that night.
