Look for group rides in the events section or post up asking if anyone wants to ride and tag along.

Ok got it, I just bought a new gsxr 600 and about to put 3000 miles on it. The problem is I have not been able to "enjoy" it yet all the millage has been to work and back. I think it is time to take some vaction time from work and see what she has in her, she feels like she want corner but just have not been able to test her rather then under the bridge by the casa on 270 sad I know.

don't ride out there alone. Last time I was out there a motorcyclist went missing, and subsequently was missing for several days after until they found him dead...

there's a lot of elevation changes, gravel on roads, and tight turns...

In the same area, 39 and 16 are awesome as well.
There's a bunch more, just get a good map and start exploring. I've found some awesome seldom travelled roads less than an hour north of Houston.

I ride alone often. map a route, let someone know where you're going and when you're due back. Don't always count on cell phone reception though.

+1. There are some good ones outside of town, stretching from just south of I-10 on the west side to all the around by Lake Livingston.

We have between 4 and six planning a ride over there in Sept, a 4 day weekend.

I looked around a plan to stay in Fredericksburg; it is right in the middle.

You will want to get out and learn your bike before you head over there.
