Texans Continue On-Field Work

As the Houston Texans prepare for their third season under head coach Bill O'Brien, they are almost set for their first veteran mini-camp. Soon after they will break until training camp, when the real hitting begins.

The 10th OTA session wrapped up on Friday, with J.J. Watt, Brian Cushing and Brock Osweiler once again among the many on the field running through the play book.

The assistant coaches met with the media for the first time this offseason.

Defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel expressed optimism regarding Jadeveon Clowney merely because he's been able to put the offseason work in on the field with his teammates thus far and that can make a huge difference this season.

Offensive coordinator George Godsey pointed out that new quarterback Brock Osweiler is really putting in his work to learn this offense and is making significant progress.

The team will hold it's three-day offseason mini-camp next week beginning on Tuesday, June 14.
